DAILY ACTIVITIES

Daily activities for the residents are offered in the Eber building. The children have their children’s groups and the adults have their own place in a workshop. Some 20 children from around Bethlehem also participate in Eber’s daily activities. These children are picked up and dropped off at their homes daily.

Loving attention helps these children to come out of their houses and develop themselves. This creates space to work on capacities needed in daily life. The groups in the day time programs are divided by their needs. The program offers educational and social opportunities, physical therapy, language groups and ergo therapy. The same loving attention is the basis for the work in the workshops for the adult residents of Jemima. They do not only work on practical skills, but also work on job experiences. The staff is continually looking for activities that give residents pleasure and fulfillment.
